Where did we come from?

Bellevue Business Depot is a stationery and office products supplier offering a full range of business services in Freeport, Grand Bahama and in Marsh Harbour Abaco, Bahamas.  Bellevue’s main store is located in Freeport. Bellevue’s inventory consists of office stationary, office furniture and office equipment.

 

Ronald Osborne joined Bellevue as a sales manager in 1963 and after working for the company for approximately a year he purchased the company in 1964.  He immediately embarked on an expansion programme that proved to be successful. In 1965 Bellevue moved from its small premises of 750 square feet to its current location.


After several years of changes in ownership, the Osborne family reacquired the company and focused on growing the business through effective management and attention to customers' needs. Management Team

 

Robert Osborne became vice president of Bellevue Business Depot and he successfully directed the company towards a “super store” concept.  Robert was responsible for the successful redevelopment of Bellevue Business Depot in Freeport as well as the successful expansion of Bellevue Business Depot in Marsh Harbour, which opened in 1996.

 

The Company went through several changes in the late 90s and into the new millennium, including a foray into the Nassau market and another change in ownership, to Abaco Markets Ltd. In 2003, Abaco Markets Ltd. decided to sell Bellevue Business Depot back to the Osborne family.

 

The Company immediately set out to improve the structure and service to customers in Grand Bahama and Abaco, and within a matter of four months, Bellevue Business Depot on these two islands was rebuilt and solid foundations and management teams were created.

 

Bellevue Freeport presently employs 45 individuals. Our range of products and services include, office stationery, office furniture, office supplies, copiers, fax machines, computers and accessories, typewriters, cash registers, a full copy centre (offering desktop publishing, color copies, regular copies, etc.), a full Service Department staffed with four factory trained technicians who repair and install: copiers, fax machines, printers, computers and computer networks.

 

Additionally we have a contract furniture department and we offer interior and office design services.

 

Some of the major dealership we currently have includes Canon, IBM, Sauder Furniture, Global Furniture and McDowell Craig Furniture.
